A poly trolley jet wash combines a professional pressure washer, petrol engine and durable polyethene water tank within one mobile trolley unit.

Unlike a standard pressure washer, the machine does not need to remain connected to an outside tap while it is being used. The onboard tank can be filled beforehand, allowing the jet wash to be moved to areas where mains services are limited or unavailable.

The equipment must only be operated by a competent person who has read and understood the instructions supplied with the machine.

Pre-Use Checks

Before starting:
​

• Inspect the pressure hose, lance and trigger gun.
• Check all fittings and connections for leaks or damage.
• Check the petrol and engine-oil levels.
• Confirm that the polyethene water tank contains sufficient clean water.
• Check that the tank cap is secure.
• Position the trolley on firm and level ground.
• Secure the machine to prevent unintended movement.
• Clear other people from the cleaning area.
• Identify electrical equipment and fragile surfaces nearby.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Safe Use of the Pressure Lance

During use:
​

• Hold the lance securely.
• Maintain stable footing.
• Never point the jet at people or animals.
• Never place hands or feet near the nozzle.
• Keep bystanders outside the working area.
• Start cleaning from a safe distance.
• Move closer gradually where necessary.
• Do not direct water at live electrical equipment.
• Do not operate the lance from a ladder.
• Never leave the running machine unattended.
• Stop using the equipment if any component becomes damaged.

High-pressure water can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury. Any suspected injection injury requires urgent medical attention.

Protecting the Pump

​Never operate the pressure washer when the onboard tank is empty.

Running the pump without an adequate water supply can cause serious damage. Monitor the water level and stop the machine before the tank runs dry.

Only clean water suitable for the equipment should be added to the polyethylene tank.

Refilling the Water Tank

Before refilling:

• Stop the engine.
• Release any residual system pressure.
• Position the machine near a suitable clean-water supply.
• Avoid overfilling the tank.
• Secure the tank cap before moving or restarting the unit.

Petrol Engine Safety

The petrol engine produces exhaust gases containing carbon monoxide.

Never operate the machine:
